Brick and Other Facia Materials

Facia Materials refer to any material used to beautify existing landscape and architecture. Often Facia consists of thin materials applied to cement walls or over cement walkways and driveways, or even applied to existing chimnies and fireplace facings. The installation process is also referred to as "Veneering". Although Brick can be used for veneering, it is more commonly used for structural applications. Other types of facia include Cultured Stone (made in molds and painted or dyed to look like natural stone) and thinly cut natural rock pieces specifically made for veneering.
